Hugh Hastings is a photojournalist and public speaker who offers his clients the unusual combination of original photography with public talks about his work and each ongoing project.
Hugh was trained as a photographer in a West London studio from the age of sixteen and has now worked as a professional for over 40 years, covering architecture to social projects.
Hugh's first love was sports photography and he was Chelsea Football Club's Official Photographer for 10 years and still works for the Club today, managing the photography archives and online workflow of images to external and internal clients.
He is a live TedX speaker (2018) and also TEDx speaker mentor (2019), a speaker for the ShelterBox disaster relief charity and a Sony Alpha Creator.
Over the last six years Hugh has won a reputation for highly engaging public talks on photography at locations including London Olympia, the Brighton Fringe, Peter Jones of Knightsbridge, Vienna, Palma Mallorca and multiple appearances at the NEC Birmingham. Away from his camera Hugh paddle-boards all year round off the Cornish coast.
